Who is he?Lance James - Portfolio Manager of Babson Enterprise Fund & Enterprise II Fund

What does he manage? Babson Enterprise Fund & Enterprise II Fund
How long has he been doing that?Lance has been in the securities business since the 1980s joining Babson in 1986. He has been portfolio manager on the Enterprise II Fund since its inception in 1991 and began managing the Enterprise Fund in January 1999.
How has the fund performed?Like other small-cap and value type funds, their performances have been sweet this year. Through Sept. 30, 2000, the Enterprise fund was up 16.04%; in 1999 the fund ended the year down 7.26%. The Enterprise II Fund was up 12.37% through Sept. 30; in 1999, its total return was up 6.16%.
Anything interesting about him? Sure. Love tennis? Then Lance is your man. He played on the tennis team while attending Princeton and at one time was a tennis pro.
