How long has he been at his job? Ed began his investment career in 1985, then joined Lord Abett three years later as an analyst. In 1994, he became the assistant portfolio manager of the Mid-Cap Value fund and in 1995, assumed full portfolio management responsibility on the fund.
How has the fund performed?Great! As of Nov. 30, the fund was up almost 37%. Year-end 1999, it was up 4.24%. At year-end 1998, it closed the year down about one-half of one percent and in 1997 was up over 31%.
