INVESCO FUNDS GROUP PROMOTES TWO FUND MANAGERS



Denver, CO ‚ November 15, 2000 ‚ INVESCO Funds Group today announced the promotions of John Schroer and Tom Wald of their investment team. Mr. Schroer was named Director of Research and lead manager of the INVESCO Global Growth Fund, set to launch on December 1, 2000. Mr. Wald was named co-manager for both the INVESCO Health Sciences and INVESCO Global Health Sciences funds.

In his new role, Mr. Schroer will oversee the company¼s equity analysts, ensure the process for fundamental research that is integral to the company¼s growth process and coordinate research between INVESCO Funds¼ sister companies (which will provide insight for the new Global Growth Fund). He will remain co-manager for the company¼s $5 billion health care funds.

With more than 12 years of experience in the industry, Mr. Wald has an extensive background analyzing health care companies. As co-manager of the INVESCO Dynamics Fund, Mr. Wald has been responsible for the selection of all health care stocks within the fund. He is positive on the sector and considers it a good place for a portion of investors¼ long-term portfolios. Mr. Wald will remain as co-manager of the INVESCO Dynamics Fund.
