
STATE STREET RESEARCH NAMES HEALTH CARE TEAM TO MANAGE HEALTH SCIENCES FUND
BOSTON, MA, August 21, 2001 - State Street Research & Management
Company today announced that the firm's Healthcare Team will be assuming
portfolio management responsibilities for State Street Research Health
Sciences Fund. This change is effective August 27.
The firm's experienced Healthcare Team of equity analysts have
research coverage responsibilities for the various subsectors of healthcare
including biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, specialty drugs, medical supplies,
medical devices, HMOs and hospitals. They will be replacing John Borzilleri
who is leaving the firm to join a local venture capital group.
